Junior AchievementsCONGRATULATIONS to 11th Grade Brazil Last years 10th Grade France had a surprise change of name (due to a hiccup with US1!) and are now 11th Grade Brazil. However, that hasn’t changed their winning ways, and they have managed to complete their grading round, winning all seven games, scoring 38 goals and conceding 1! With the new league grades due to be announced soon, it is likely that the team, coached by Ian Tuddenham and Darren Conod, will be once again promoted to the next league. The team is lucky enough to have kept the core of their team the same for the last three years. In fact, since they started in the 9th grade that same core team hasn’t lost a league game, for three seasons. A 35 game unbeaten run so far! The original players still with the team are Sam Ferguson, Andrew Bolton, Dylan Tuddenham, Jordan Andreassen, Liam Pugh and Zak Noble who started out as 9th Grade France in the C2 league. After grading round were moved to the C1 league, and carried on the season unbeaten to win the league on the last match of the season with a 2-1 win against Takapuna. The following season, with a few changes, these players were joined by Bradley Hall and Taylor Conod and again after grading round were promoted two grades, skipping the B3 league, and entering the B2 league. They once again went unbeaten and won that league.
This year has seen a change in the league structure, and with the name change, FHM 11th Grade Brazil (who have been joined by Daniel Negus, Tony Atkins, Robbie Blount, Adam Price and Theo Walsh) have already made a name for themselves. With a great start to their grading round, it is highly likely that they will once again be promoted from the 4th Division Green. The boys are all looking forward to continuing their winning ways, as well as playing some great football, and having fun.
A great effort by all the players (and parents and supporters!)
